The founder of Woodbury, New York’s Lakeside Concierge Medicine, Dr. Brian Wetchler is responsible for staffing the outpatient services provider and ensuring that schedules, patient charts, and lab results are ready at the start of each work day. He and his team of internists provide outpatient care throughout the day, with common issues including acute illnesses and chronic conditions, as well as matters of preventive care. The Lakeside Concierge Medicine staff also provides medical opinions to patients referred by outside physicians. Dr. Brian Wetchler is also involved in the administration of the office, which includes activities such as budgeting, staffing, and financial planning.

Dr. Brian Wetchler studied economics at the University of Michigan before receiving his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. During his time as a medical student, he became a member of the Psi Sigma Alpha National Osteopathic Honor Society and received the TOUCH Program Award for community service. After graduating, he conducted his medical training as an internal medicine resident with the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ Internal Medicine Residency Program. His residency included presenting a case study on respiratory failure and toothaches at the American Thoracic Society Conference.
